Relief efforts Phase 2 has started, We are conducting surveys in different camps in the outskirts of Karachi. You can contribute in cash/food items(no used clothes).
More than 1400 people have lost their lives as a result of massive floods which have affected around 14 MILLION people! This natural disaster has left thousands people homeless who are forced to take refuge under the open sky and are awaiting rescue! Pakistani Officials say 650,000 homes have so far been destroyed across the country, 10,000 cows have died and 1.4m acres (557,000 hectares) of agricultural land have been flooded.
BAWS has initiated Flood Releif efforts for the affectees, Come forward and make us able reach out to more and more people!

UPDATE: BAWS has finalised to move with first lot of 500 packages of relief goods for flood victims on Saturday, 28th August. BAWS Secretariat will remain open till Saturday morning for 24 hours.
