For The Sake Of “Humanity”

on Monday, August 23rd, 2010 | by Imran

(A humble request to all my Australian friends)

It is estimated 20 million people have been affected by the floods

“ISLAMABAD: The number of people suffering from the massive floods in Pakistan could exceed the combined total in three recent mega-disasters – the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the 2005 Kashmir earthquake and the 2010 Haiti earthquake – the United Nations said Monday.”

It’s hard to assimilate, but YES! The figures below are factually genuine.

On 22 August 2010 at 05:52:44 AM (Canberra time), the resident population of Australia is projected to be: 22,431,927 and the number of affected people on the same time by flood in Pakistan projected to be: 21,000,000, about 20% of the nation is underwater.

BAWS has initiated Flood Relief efforts for the affectees, Come forward and make us able reach out to more and more people!
